Year one, seven teams. Arizona Legacy is here, and we are just getting started.

I built Arizona Legacy because there’s a better way to grow boys volleyball. After years coaching at the club, high school, and college levels, I saw how often development takes a back seat to rushing into competition. Details get skipped. Foundations get thin. That’s not who we are.

At Legacy, we’re about more than just volleyball. We’re about community and family. We want every athlete and parent to feel they’re part of something bigger than a roster, something built to last.

We’re also different in how we train. To our knowledge, we’re the only boys-only club in the region that has athletic strength and conditioning built directly into the program. Our practices are three hours long: one hour in the weight room with Elite U, followed by two hours on the court. All of our high school-aged teams train three times a week whenever possible, two weekday practices and one on Saturday. It’s intentional. It’s complete development.

Consistency matters too. Through our partnership with AZ Hype, we’ve locked in a true training home with confirmed schedules through the 2026 national championship season. That means no bouncing around from gym to gym. Same place, same standard, every week.

Right now, our focus is on this inaugural season and the seven teams carrying the Legacy name. But we’re already looking ahead:

• 14U Spring Season – Evaluation Day is January 24, 2026. A short four-tournament season for middle school athletes and younger. Open to athletes not under contract with another club.
• Summer 2026 – May tryouts for a one tournament summer series, open to athletes not under contract with another club.
• 2026–2027 Season – Full club tryouts scheduled for August 8, 2026.

Our mission is simple: build complete athletes, set a high standard, and create a real home for boys volleyball in Arizona.
